Steve Bodden

President, Ecclesiastical Realty Advisory Services LLC

As Managing Partner of Sanchez/Bodden/Lerner, LLC, Steve Bodden co-founded Ecclesiastical Realty Advisory Services, LLC.  Combining his real estate career of nearly 25 years – much of it initially focused on retail and office leasing and sales – with his earlier work with non-profits and an ongoing devotion to his church and community, Mr. Bodden has since led the firm to their current niche of real estate investment sales and advisory services for religious institutions through ERAS, its affiliate.

Throughout his real estate career, Mr. Bodden has conducted more than 300 transactions in the New York and Northern New Jersey market, totaling over two million square feet of space for an aggregate sales value in excess of 200 million dollars.  Co-founding Sanchez/Bodden/Lerner, LLC, in 2005, he was, and is, responsible for the firm's daily operations and supervision of its brokers, and has managed a broad spectrum of tenants, from multinational entities to restaurateurs and non-profits.  Mr. Bodden brokered one of the largest leasing transactions in New York City by representing ECKO Apparel Company in their leasing of 271,000 square feet of headquarters space.

Before joining Lerner, Mr. Bodden spent nearly a decade in the non-profit arena, initially as a social worker and, later, as Project Manager for Brooklyn-based EWVIDCO. At EWVIDCO he conceived, designed and implemented its Minority Business Development Program, which helped minority businesses apply for financing from public and private sources.

As an elder and lay leader for the past 16 years in the Community Presbyterian Church in Deer Park, NY, Mr. Bodden has also played an active role on the church's board.  He served as the clerk of session for six years and sits on several key committees.

Mr. Bodden earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Asbury College in Kentucky and completed his Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Urban Economic Development from New York University.

Steve Bodden currently resides with his family in Long Island, NY.
