Geoffrey Wiener

President, GWW Planning & Development, LLC

Mr. Wiener founded GWW Planning & Development in 2013 to provide strategic planning and space planning services to not-for-profit institutions, government decision makers and mission-driven developers. GWW has served as planning consultant for over 30 sites owned by various religious denominations throughout New York City, as well as development consultant to schools, universities, cultural organizations and residential developers. Work includes space programming, development feasibility and zoning analyses, land use approvals, and crafting RFPs for development of mixed-use projects with housing, churches, schools and commercial. From 2001 to 2013 Mr. Wiener served as head of the Space Planning and Development office at Columbia University Facilities, where he planned and implemented innovative solutions to diverse space and real estate needs. Projects included everything from reconfiguration of an office suite to development of an entirely new campus in the Manhattanville area of West Harlem. Mr. Wiener has a B.A., cum laude, in Urban Geography from Clark University in Worcester, MA and an M.S. in City Planning from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
